The Immune Support formulation contains essential vitamin A, C B-complex, Folate and Zinc. For
centuries Echinacea (echinacosides) has been used to support the immune system in the treatments
of viral illnesses like the common cold, and influenza to bronchitis, sore thrat, ear infections, canker
sores and vaginitis. Goldenseal is often times used in combination with echinacea. It harbors
antimicrobial properties and is good against viral and bacterial infections. Goldenseal is most
commonly prescribed in disease of the gastrointestinal tract. Astragalus root commonly used in
Chinese medicine for infections such as colds, sore throats is found in this product. Likewise
Ligustrum lucidum extract has been used to support the immune system and fight off infections.
The mushrooms Maitake, Shiitake, and Reishi aid in fighting fatigue, hepatitis and support the
immune function (good in HIV patients). The TD-fraction of Maitake has very potent anti-microbial
and even anti-neoplastic properties. Quercetin, a flavonoid, has anti-inflammatory and anti-histaminic
properties. Lastly, Garlic is added for its anti-microbial and immune boosting properties. Taken as
times of physical stress or around the times of the year where the immune system cumes under attack
(flu season) this supplement can help prevent contracting the cold virus or the flu. Those burdened
with chronic viral infections (hepatitis, herpes, HIV) or auto-immune diseases (FMS and CF/IDS) will
benefit. Anywhere from 2 to 4 capsules daily depending on condition.
